Is Custom Brake Controller Harness Available For 2008 Ford Edge
Question:
Can I use C51322 to connect the Curt C24VV to a Ford Edge 2008 ? I think this is the harness for some other Ford products, but I have not seen any confirmation for Edge 2008. Thanks

The Curt TriFlex Brake Controller, part # C24VV, is a proportional brake controller that activates your trailer brakes in direct proportion to the brake action on your Edge.
The Curt Custom Wiring Adapter, part # C51322, you mentioned, is not designed as a fit for your 2008 Ford Edge. You will need part # C51515, which will need to be hardwired into your Edge wiring.
If you do not have a 7-way connector at the rear of your Edge, I recommend part # ETBC7. This plugs into your 4-way connector and with additional wiring gives you a 4-way and a 7-way connector.
If you do not have a 4-way connector, I recommend part # 118551. This is a Tow Ready Wiring Kit that simply plugs into the tail light wiring at the back of your Edge. I have attached a link to an installation video for this wiring on a 2008 Ford Edge you can check out.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the connections and helps prevent corrosion.
I have also attached some links to helpful articles you may want to take a look at.
