Yakima Full Swing Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I am concerned with clearances between my bumper on a 2014 Subaru Outback with an installed Hidden Hitch 87568 and the Y02465 bike rack assembly. What are the following dimensions for a Y02465 1 center of pinhole in rack hitch bar to back of upright mask. 2 center of pinhole in rack hitch bar to tip of black tightening handle on the back of the upright mask. 3 Also what is the width between rack arms outside to outside, Good to know since I will be transporting various types of bikes.

The distance from the center of the pin hole to the nearest portion of the Yakima Full Swing Bike rack part # Y02465 is 6 inches. The nearest portion of the bike rack is the tightening knob used to secure the swing away portion of the rack.
The distance from the outside of the arms of the rack is 12 inches. I spoke with my contact at Yakima and he told me that you should have no problem using this rack on your 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon I attached a review video for this rack for you to check out as well.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
