Question:

But I could not find the black wirethe power wire which charges the trailers battery while driving on the road.I dont care the purple color coz I dont need the reverse lighting on triler. Well, if ever its justblack wire under the rear of the vehicle, what else do I need to do after connecting it to the black wire of the part # 37185? or do you have a video instruction for this product for 2012 Ford Expediton?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Actually the color wire you are looking for to power the 12 volt power circuit of the 7-way adapter part # 37185 is orange in color and will be right near where you found the blue wire for the brake controller. See the picture I attached plus the FAQ link to the right that details how to install a brake controller in an Expedition like yours.
The other solution you have would be to run a 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) through a 40 amp breaker like part # PK54540 to the positive post of your battery.
