Fit of Roadmaster # RM-155 Bulb And Socket Flat Towing Tail Light Wiring on 2012 Chevy Captiva Sport
Question:
I would like to purchase the ROADMASTER tow car light kit, that comes with its own bulbs. Our concern is whether there is enough room to install this system in our 2012 Chevy Captiva Sport? Thank you

I checked with my Roadmaster representative, who tells me that the Roadmaster Bulb and Socket Wiring Kit, part # is indeed a fit for your 2012 Chevy Captiva Sport.
The taillight assembly needs to be at least 2-1/4 or 2-1/2 inches deep, to allow for the 2 inch length of the bulb plus the recommended 1/4 to 1/2 inch of clearance between the bulb and the inside of the lens.
I've linked you to a video showing the kit being installed on a 2012 Chevy Sonic.
