Trailer Tail Light Recommendation that Needs Mounting Studs that are 2-1/2 inches Long
Question:
I am looking for a replacement light left side or street side for a custom made hay trailer. The trailer has Peterson lights currently. I purchased a replacement at my local farm and ranch store but the mounting bolts are too short. I need bolts around 2.5 inches long but the only ones I can find are about 1-1.5 inches long. Do you have replacement lights with these longer bolts.

Expert Reply:
None of the stud mounted trailer taillights are going to have studs that are 2-1/2 inches in length.
What you could do is get a Aero Pro Submersible LED Trailer Tail and License Light # STL37RB and then swap out the carriage bolts that come with it for longer ones that would fit your trailer.
The matching other right hand light would be # STL36RB.
