Suspension Enhancement for 2009 Toyota Tundra 4x4 with Draw-Tite Gooseneck Trailer Hitch

Question:

I just installed a Draw Tite Hide-a-Goose hitch kit in my 2009 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 4X4. Id like to install air bags as well, but none of the airbags listed on e-trailer specific for my make and model of vehicle will allow for installation with a gooseneck hitch already installed. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Because of the bracket placement for the Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose hitch # 9465-36, you are limited as to which suspension enhancement products will fit. But I do have a couple of great options for you.

First you can use SuperSprings # SSA4. They fit on the leaf spring stack and have a 3,000 pound capacity. This product will not interfere with the gooseneck hitch installation brackets.

These types of helper springs are more ideal for towing than air bags. Air bags are great if you carry different size and weight loads frequently. But something that is basically static in size and weight, like towing a trailer, can easily be handled by suspension enhancement products listed above.
