Will Timbren Axle-Less Suspension Fit a 1988 Jayco Dove 6 Trailer
Question:
Length 198inch x 71 Weight lbs 1490 Limited Slip Axle - not a drop but a turned sideways system Before my last trip, I inspected my suspension and the front anchor bolt was so loose that I couldnt tighten it - threads were toast. I replaced it, and off we went bad tire wear - 1600 miles later. I think the spindle might be bent - I replaced the tire and wheel and dont like the way the box sits - doesnt look even. Id love additional ground clearance, and if you think this product would work, Im up for the task of swapping out my current axle.

You have what sounds like a torsion axle. There are many different types of torsion axles. It could be that the axle insides are worn out. That can happen. But it could also be a bent component such as a spindle. All sorts of things can cause tire wear such as a worn torsion axle, bent spindle, overloading, worn bearings or other running gear components.
A Timbren axle-less suspension system such as # ASR2000S01 will work great for you. This particular set up uses hubs with L44649 inner and outer bearings. If you need to replace the hubs also to match then you can use hub # 8-91-05UC1-EZ.
Or you could use system # A20RS545 which comes with hubs with 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. Or there is # A20RS440 which comes with hubs with a 4 on 4 bolt pattern.
