Not all vehicles and tow setups require the use of a supplemental power steering cooler, but if while you are driving or towing your steering wheel gets harder to turn or you hear it straining after a while you might look into a power steering cooler like part # D13212.
I did some research in your vehicle and Acura does require that you install a power steering cooler on your vehicle for towing. Mainly this is because the underhood temps of your vehicle will increase while towing due to the additional strain being put on the vehicle. Because the underhoods temps of your vehicle are already pretty high due to the catalytic converter locations the PS fluid cooler is there to help remove some of that heat.
Having the fluid at 180 degrees is ideal, but anything below 250 is acceptable and over 300 degrees is when pumps start breaking.
