Expert Reply:
The RoadMaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Straight Cord Kit, item # RM-98146-7, is 78 inches long, so that would not work for your application. You can put a cord together to get the length you need with a few parts. Start with the 6-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector, part # H20036, which is 96 inches long. Then add the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole Trailer Connector, part # PK12706. For the towed vehicle, you will also need the Pollak 6-Pole Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket, part # PK11609, unless you already have it. If you do not already have this wiring socket, you will need a mounting bracket, part # RM-910030-5, to go with it.
