Do you have to have a hitch on the back of the car to install your rack on a Lexus GX 470 2007? Thanks.

Yes, in order to mount the Thule Hitching Post Pro Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack, # TH934XTR, on your 2007 Lexus GX 470, your vehicle will need to be equipped with a hitch like the Curt Custom Fit Trailer Hitch, # 13445.
Another convenient option for carrying bikes with your Lexus would be with a trunk mounted bike rack like the Thule OutWay PRO 3 Bike Carrier, # TH56BV. This option would limit you to carrying a maximum of three bikes at one time.
I have attached a link to all of the trunk mounted bike racks that we have to fit your vehicle in case you are interested.
If you plan on carrying women's, children's or alternative framed bikes, I recommend an adapter bar like the Swagman Easy-Out, # 64005. This bar attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more evenly in the carrier while providing more ground clearance.
