The Reese Universal 5th Wheel Base Rail Kit # RP30035 is the correct install kit for both long and short bed versions of your truck. Since this is a universal-fit kit intended to work with a broad range of vehicles there will be some variances in how the L-brackets fit.
My contact at Reese confirmed that this kit is a correct fit for your truck.
If your truck has a body lift of any amount this will affect the effective length of the brackets where they attach to the frame and truck bed.
