The Valley Pull Maxx 16K fifth wheel hitch uses the standard above bed base rails, so you may be able to use a universal fifth wheel install kit like part # RP30035. The base rails included with this kit are compatible with Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, Valley and Husky hitches that use the above-bed base rails.
Our universal fifth wheel install kits have not been tested on any trucks older than 1973, so you may need to make modifications to the frame brackets or truck bed to make the kit fit. There are no vehicle specific instructions or measurements for your truck, so the key would be to make sure the center of the fifth wheel hitch is centered or an inch or two forward of the rear axle center line.
