Catalytic Converter Comparison/Recommendation for a 2003 Toyota Corolla
Question:
Hi, I have a 03 Corolla and am looking for a direct fit catalytic converter. I came across the MF93200 and the MF49461 on your site. They seem to be very similar but must have some difference. Could you tell me the difference between these two? Thanks

Both part numbers you referenced are confirmed catalytic converters for your 2003 Toyota Corolla. The difference is that the part # MF49461 is a higher grade converter. It is part of the OEM Grade line of converters from Magnaflow. OEM Grade converters are specially formulated with a heavier wash coat and loaded with twice the amount of precious metals (platinum, palladium, rhodium) to provide a much stronger coverage.
OEM Grade is recommended for vehicles that have:
• High Mileage
• History of Check Engine Lights
• Gross Polluters
• California Emissions Equipment Outside of California
