I have some great solutions for you but since the 2005 Toyota RAV4 has a rear mounted spare tire you will not be able to use a trunk mount bike rack like the Over-the-Top # HRF2.

What you can do is use a spare tire mounted bike rack. There are several options that will fit your RAV4 and I have included a link to them for you.
