Troubleshooting Reverse Lights Not Working on a 1997 Northland Truck Camper, 11-footer

Question:

Camper has full vehicle lights, but the back-up and parking lights dont work. Brake, hazard, and turn signals do work. All bulbs are good, and the trailer plug wire checks out okay. Im thinking a bad ground somewhere. Is there a grounding bar on the camper? Im thinking about running a long wire to the non-working bulb outlets just to see if they will light at all.

First visually inpect the condition of the bulbs and the grounds of the lights that aren't working. If they look good then you could use a jumper wire like you said to test to see if the lights will illuminate. If so, then you know the problem is somewhere in the wiring.

It could be that the lights aren't connected, if they have never worked it could be that they were never connected initially.
