How Many Different Key and Lock Combinations are there for Bulldog Hitch Lock # BD580402
Question:
Just curious - can you tell me how many distinct key codes are used in these? I want to use to lock on a $900 blue ox tow bar and hopefully there are many code to help prevent another valid key from opening the lock by others. I am very pleased to see all ss on this unit!

I spoke with my contact over at Bulldog and found out that they periodically make slight changes, different locks, and matching keys for lock # BD580402. So there are thousands of possible key combinations for this lock. Also, the key is very unique and cannot be duplicated like you could with a traditional house key. Duplicates have to be made by Bulldog.
