Does the 4-way on a 2013 Ram 1500 Have Separate or Combined Taillight Wiring
Question:
I have a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500, it has a 7 way and 4 way plug on the back for trailers. With this 7 way to 4 way adapter take the place of installing an electrical turn signal converter on the vehical?

Since you already have a 4-way and a 7-way the Curt Wiring Connector part # C55384 that you referenced would only provide you with an additional 4-way on your 2013 Ram 1500. The 4-way on your vehicle should already have the tail light circuits combined.
I would recommend you test the circuits of the 4-way you have with a circuit tester like our part # PTW2993 to verify the circuit configuration. It should already have combined circuits. If for some bizarre reason the 4-way has a different wiring configuration but the circuits of the 7-way have combined circuits then yes, the # C55384 would give you a 4-way with combined circuits to match your boat trailer.
