Fixing Excessive Sway when Using Curt Trailer Hitch 13390 on a 2012 Subaru Outback
Question:
Compared to other 2 inch hitches on my other vehicles, there is too much sway in this hitch.

I am not sure what you mean. The hitch itself should not be swaying at all. If you are talking about trailer sway while towing then the aerodynamic differences between the vehicles could the reason for the trailer to sway more with one vehicle than another. You would only need a friction sway bar, # 83660, and ball mount bracket # RP26003 for 2 inch hitches to stop the sway.
If you have a bike rack or cargo carrier with excessive movement then a simple anti-rattle device such as # MPG908 will help to take out the play and limit movement. I have linked videos on the friction sway bar and the anti-rattle device for you.
