How Does the Car Seat Adapter for Thule Urban Glide Strollers Hold the Car Seat

We were shown at the store that the car seat just sits on top of the adapter and then a belt simply clips over top of the car seat and baby to secure it to the adapter. Is this correct? It didnt seem quite right to us. Thank you

That is correct. The issue is that there are so many different types of car seats that there is no way to make a system where the car seat locks to the adapter # TH20110713. The bar offers support for the back of the car seat and the strap is used to secure it and the precious cargo to the stroller.
