I pulled a Curt Venturer Trailer Brake Controller, part # C74VV from our warehouse and measured it for you to see if it will fit in the ashtray of your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. It measures 3-1/4 inches wide and 4-1/8 inches long.
If you have the factory 7-way on your Silverado I recommend the Universal Wiring Adapter, part # C51515.
If your Silverado is not equipped with a factory tow package, you will need to purchase additional equipment to ensure that the signals from your brake controller are sent to your trailer's brakes. I recommend the Universal Installation Kit, part # ETBC7.
