Roof Mount Cargo Bag Recommendation for a Hummer H3 without a Roof Rack
Question:
For roof installation, my Hummer H3 currently only has Billet Roof Cargo Hooks essentially eye hooks - are these satisfactory for the roof bag installation or are roof rack cross bars necessary?

I recommend going with a different bag that you can use with the hooks on your Hummer H3. Rightline cargo bag # RL100S30 should be a good option for you. It will attach to a vehicle with or without a roof rack, and in the event that the hooks aren't going to work, which is unlikely, then you could use car clips # RL100600 to secure it to the roof. The clips fit in the gap between the roof and top of the door.
I also recommend using protective pad # RL100650 to not only protect the Hummer roof but also to help keep the bag from moving while traveling.
