Ball Mount Recommendation for a Truck and Trailer that Sit Perfectly Level
Question:
so what your telling me is the best hitch for me is straight shaft with a 1inch rise?? I need either part #4280 or 4284....towing with 2000 f150 harley Davidson edition..both measurements are 14inch hitch andcoupler...this will not rise the trailer to high in front?

Expert Reply:
Since your hitch height is the exact same as your coupler height your best option would be to go with a ball mount with a 1 inch rise since that is the closest to a zero rise/drop ball mount we offer. The tongue weight of your trailer will cause the rear of your truck to sag slightly which will put your setup at very close to perfectly level.
The ball mounts part numbers # 4280 and # 4284 both would work well for you. The # 4284 is just a longer version of the # 4280.
