Rhino Rack offers the RT-Style Roof Rack Track that would mount directly to the roof of your 2008 Ford Ranger with pop rivets. You will need a rivet gun to install this track so if you do not have one already, you could purchase one from a local hardware or auto parts store.

We offer the # RTS507 which is our shortest RT track and it measures 43-1/2 inches long. These tracks are offered in different lengths and can be cut if necessary. You will want to measure the roof of your Ranger to see which length would work best for you.

To complete this system you will need track legs and crossbars. I recommend the Track Mount Legs # RLTP. These legs come in packs of two so you would need one pack for every crossbar that you intend to install. For crossbars, I would go with a Heavy Duty Crossbar like the 50 inch, # RB1250S. We offer different lengths of this crossbar so I would measure to see which size will be the best fit for your truck.

I also recommend using a silicone sealant like # 0160297 to seal around the holes that were drilled during installation of the tracks. This will create a waterproof barrier to help protect the roof of your truck.
