The Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 is a fit for your 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This kit is a universal-fit diode lighting kit that requires splicing into your Jeep's OEM wiring. Once installed you will not need to repeat the installation process. I have linked a video showing installation in a 2013 Wrangler.
There are also several other types of tow bar lighting kits available, which are less complex to install. These include bulb and socket-type kits like the Roadmaster # RM-155 that provide lighting that is totally separate from the vehicle lighting system, and removable magnetic-mount kits that are the easiest to install and remove, the Roadmaster # RM-2120.
The linked article on flat-towing will give you additional information on each type as well as general information on the requirements for safe and legal flat-towing.
