Reusing Truck Bed Mounting Rails to Move Fifth Wheel Hitch from 2011 Silverado to 2014 Ram 2500
Question:
I have a 2011 Chevy 2500hd with above the bed fifth wheel hitch. My question is, would the rails themselves work on a 2014 Ram 2500 or do I need to purchase the rails along with the frame pieces again? Thanks

Curt is our only supplier that offers an above the bed fifth wheel hitch install kit for the 2014 Ram 2500.
If you currently have Curt bed rails, you can reuse your existing rails and use the # C16427 frame brackets.
It is strongly recommended that the frame brackets and the bed rails be from the same manufacturer. Using brackets and rails from two different manufacturers might lead to an unknown weight capacity, which would be bad.
Because of this, if your bed rails were not manufactured by Curt, you'd be better off using the # C16427-204 which includes the frame brackets, bed rails and all necessary hardware.
