No Light On Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller Installed on a 2003 GMC Sierra

wiring under hood . The blue wire is plugged in from the factory . no light on controller ?

If there is no trailer connected then there should be no lights lit up on the Tekonsha Voyager brake controller # 39510. Once a trailer is connected you should see a green light.

On a 2003 GMC truck or SUV you should just have to plug in the controller using harness # 3015-P. There is a junction box on the left side of the floorboard on the drivers side. Remove the cover and plug in the controller on the top row, second sport from the left. I have linked a video that shows the location for you.

If everything is hooked up right and there is no light with a trailer connected then you likely need to make some connections under the hood of your Sierra to make everything fully functional. This is common on Chevy/GMC vehicles.
