Add license plate holder how do you get the holder or light off?

The procedure from removing your existing lamps will depend on the lamp itself. If your current lamp is part # ST57RS, there are bolts on the rear of the lamp that pass through the mounting bracket on the trailer. Once these bolts are loosened, the lamp will pull away from the trailer frame.
