Will I Need to Remove Under Body Appearance Panel on 2014 Hyundai Elantra Sport to Install Hitch
Question:
I have a 2014 Hyundai Elantra Sportnew model this year. I watched the video on the 2012 installation and noticed a difference from that model to mine. On mine the driver side of the rear of the car has a plastic shield that is not on the passenger side rearsame as your video. Does this panel need to be removed? Will the holes under the panel be the same as in the video?

Draw-Tite # 24902 is confirmed as a fit for your 2014 Hyundai Elantra Sport. In order to install # 24902 you will need to remove or trim the under body appearance panel on the driver’s side.
I have linked to the installation instructions for you to check out.
You will need to use the recommended ball mount, part # 3594. If you need a hitch ball, you can use either a hitch ball with a 2 inch diameter # 19258, or a hitch ball with a 1-7/8 inch diameter # 19256, depending on your application.
