How Does Mississippi State Trailer 2 Inch Hitch Cover # AMG100321 Mount to Trailer Hitch
Question:
How does this mount to the 2 x 2 receiver? From the straight on photo, I cant tell what is behind the Logo for mounting it. Does it have the mounting, which will allow me to put a 5/8 locking pin through and secure it?

Yes, the Mississippi State Trailer 2 Inch Hitch Receiver Cover, item # AMG100321, attaches to the hitch with a 5/8 inch hitch pin. On the back of the cover there is a channel that slides in the 2 inch hitch and a foam rubber gasket to prevent the cover from rattling in the receiver.
I would recommend a hitch lock to prevent theft of the hitch cover. The Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Flush Design for 2 inch Trailer Hitches, item # e98880, and the etrailer 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock - Stainless Steel - item # e98882, are both excellent hitch locks.
