Fit of Swagman Semi 2.0 Bike Rack on 2013 Lincoln MKX
Question:
Can the Swagman Semi 2.0 work on a 2013 Lincoln MKX?

When we installed hitches on a 2013 Lincoln MKX/Ford Edge, we found that the receiver hitch pin hole was recessed under the rear bumper by about 5 inches. This means that in order for the Swagman Semi 2.0 to fit, the distance from the hitch pin hole in the shank to the closest part of the carrier must be greater than 5 inches.
The Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH22G is a similar rack that features lightweight aluminum construction, and includes the hitch and cable lock. The shank on the rack is a bit longer to accommodate for a recessed hitch receiver making it a better fit. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear-most portion of the bike frame is 13 inches when folded down to carry bikes, and 9 inches when folded up so you'd still have 4 inches of clearance.
I've linked you to some product demonstration videos for both racks mentioned above.
