Hitch Balls Moving Around on Flash Simple 2-Ball Mount
Question:
Hello my name is Chris Ham. I bought a Flash brand hitch quite a while back. Im not looking for a warranty claim or anything. I noticed the other day the balls in the hitch are able to move around some. I dont remember them doing this before. Is this something I should be concerned about? Its a 2-5/16 on one side and 2 on the other. Since you guys sell them I wanted to know if this is a safety concern and should I replace it? As I mentioned I have had this hitch a while, cant remember how long.

Hi Christopher; it looks like you have the Flash Simple 2-Ball Mount # FA42-00-2600. There is a bolt that you can tighten to eliminate the play in the hitch balls, so I'm assuming this isn't as tight as it once was after using it over time. All you will need is a 5/16" Allen wrench to tighten it down.
