Can Runners Be Reduced on B&W Companion Slider
Question:
2014 Ford F350 King Ranch 6 1/2foot bed. Are the stabilizer strips required for a BandW roll over 5th wheel hitch? Can the supplied 1/2inch strips be sanded/filed down to 3/8inch and work?

It sounds like you're talking about the runners that sit underneath the Companion # BWRVK3500. I talked to B&W about it and they said they can be shaved down if need be you can't do anything to reduce the bolts holding them on.
