Rubber Strip/Crossbar Pad For A Thule TracRac Ladder Rack
Question:
These seem like a good idea but I dont my aluminum ladders would glide easily over this rubber. Do they make a similar item but in the same kind of plastic that separate the feet from the slide rails?

Hello Jason. The Rubber Wear Strip # TARX-12007-1 that you were looking at is the only strip that is made for the Thule TracRac ladder rack. The strip is made more to protect the crossbars, than to provide a grip for your ladders. it will provide some grip/friction, but that really is not what its made for. You could use a crossbar pad like part # TH845000 for a better grip, or you could just add some rubberized tape like flex tape to the top of the bars.
