Comparing RoadActive Suspension Systems For a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
Question:
Whats the difference between part number 3611 and 3611CHD for a 2019 Chevy 2500 HD? Which would be better for pulling a 5th wheel?

That is a terrific question Morris. There are actually 3 different RoadActive Suspension kits available for your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The # RAS3611 is the base kit with a 2,000lb capacity. From there we move up to the # RAS3611-HD which steps up to a 3,000lb capacity. The # RAS3611-CHD is also a 3,000lb capacity but is specific to trucks which have the overload spring on top of the leaf spring.
As for which kit will be best for towing your 5th wheel this will depend on the tongue weight of your 5th wheel. If it is less than 2,000lbs of tongue weight you will want to choose the base kit. For a higher tongue weight you would want to select one of the HD kits depending if you have a top overload spring.
