How to Power Scooter Lift on 2015 GMC Terrain
Question:
I would like to convert the four flat plug on my vehicle to power a scooter lift. The plug for the scooter lift has a red and black wire. I know the red is the positive side of the battery and the black is for the negative side of the battery. I know on the four flat plug, the white wire is the ground side of the battery. But which wire color is for the positive side of the battery. I think it’s the brown wire. But I was hoping your company can help me with which color wire is the positive side on the four flat plug that’s installed on my vehicle. Thanks

None of the wires on a 4-way are for the battery. Your standard 4-way uses Green for right turn/stop, yellow for left turn/stop, brown for running lights, and white for ground. This isn't designed to power a scooter lift and you would only have power when these functions are active.
To add power to your scooter lift I would add a 7-way to your 2015 GMC Terrain using the # ETBC7. This will give you dedicated 12V power at the connector. On your lift you can add a 7-way connector # PK12706 and run the 12V power to the 11:00 position and ground wire to the 5:00 position.
