Will I Be Able to Use the Kick Sensor w/ the Curt Hitch for a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander?
Question:
I too am needing a tow hitch for my Grand Highlander but I have a limited model with a kick sensor and I would like to keep my kick sensor. Will I be able to do that with the tow hitch you’re recommending? There is a YouTube video of a Toyota dealership doing just that but I’m running into a lot of delays and expense for that.

Yes, it will! We've sold a few of these and have heard back from some of our customers that have said the Curt Hitch item # C26VV does not affect the functionality of the kick sensor. What typically happens in situations like this is you lose the sensor right around the 2" receiver which isn't a problem because you don't want to be kicking towards it anyways and you have to go to the left or right.
The Curt Hitch item # C26VV is custom fit for the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid and bolts to it without drilling with included hardware. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 500 lbs maximum tongue weight.
