Replacement Step Recommendation for Series 35 that Has More Drop

Question:

Looking for a replacement for my series 35 which is jamming up not opening fully, appears to be corrosion in the main shaft pivots. Already replaced the motor and gear assy. Looking for two options: 1. Replacement frame only for the series 35. 2. A different step with 7-8inch Series 35 is only 5, need to be able to lower for a easier entry. Can I Install a different series step on my rig, even if it means some modifications to the steps or the rig? Thanks in advance.

Hey Darrel, the best solution for you would be the Kwikee Electric RV Step 28 Series part # LC3747453 which has the drop you are wanting plus is similar enough dimensionally to what you have now that it would replace what you have pretty easily.
