Troubleshooting Low Output on Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Brake Controller

Question:

My triflex brake controller only has output of 0.5 if I increase the sensitivity to L9 it will go to 3 .the manual setting is at 5.0 which is what I want. Why is this happening?

It sounds like you're getting an output of 0.5 on auto. The manual setting on your # C24VV won't have an impact on the output aside from when you use the manual control. Based on what you're describing it sounds like you need to adjust the gain control which is the maximum power available to the brakes. The load control, which is the sensitivity, adjusts the aggressiveness. Even at 9 there won't be a high output if your gain setting is low. Keep in mind, this whole system works proportionally so light braking will also give you a low output when compared to aggressive braking.
