Wider Tire Option to Replace 5.30-12 on Trailer
Question:
hello, I have a trailer with 5.30-12 rim: 4 1/2 tires. I need tires and new wheels are ok that are as wide as possible to support weight on soft surfaces. Weight load: 2000lb and highway / DOT speed rating please.

Hey Micah, the most similar trailer tire size to what you have now that's going to be significantly wider would be the 205/65-10 like the part # AM3H490 for if you have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern or the part # AM3H460 for if you have a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern.
These are going to be about 8 inches wide and have an 87 mph speed rating.

thanks for this. I want to double check on some stuff: The current wheels are 12 in. the suggested ones ( part # AM3H490 ) is 10 in. Sound correct? You mention the new part would be 8in wide but the page for the product states 6 in wide. Can you double check on this stuff for me before I purchase? Micah
