Replacing 63" Solera Arms With 69" Arms
Question:
My awing on 5th wheel got ripped off by wind, I lost both Solera arms and LED lights. Tube and awning seem good to re-use. I need to replace the damaged Solera arms. Camper is not at my residence. What is difference between 63 and 69 arms besides length please? Would it hurt if installed 69 and original were 63? My awning is 20 long.

Arms like the # LC759516 are designed for an 8' extension. These measure 63" just like what you had. The # LC434723 with 69" arms is also made for an 8' extension. As long as you have 69" Of unobstructed space from the awning rail straight down and 2-1/2" of clearance between the awning rail and the top of your entry door you can use the longer arms.
