How Much Ground Clearance Is There With A Stealth Hitch 7-Way Connector On A 2021 Kia Telluride
Question:
how far down does a connected wiring harness hang down when connected, I have not seen any photos of it connected to a trailer to verify that there is a good amount of clearance for the pin connection when attached to a trailer.

Hey Ryan,
The edge of 7-way socket of the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # 391KIATELL20T is going to sit right at the edge of the rear fascia and with the 7-way plug slipping into it you'd be looking at roughly 3.5" - 4" sticking out below the fascia line when you include the bend from the cable. You can measure from the ground up to the fascia to determine the amount of clearance you have.

So with a fully connected wire-harness, can you estimate how much space is between the road and the trailer connector, we talking inches? The adapter alone will have a 4-5in hard plastic piece from the connection point out, then there will need to be room for the cable to bend, I just want to make sure I have clearance enough to take a bump here and there without worrying the connector cable is going to hit the blacktop.
