Can Trailer Tire Ply Rating be Changed without Issue 225/75-15
Question:
Good morning. Im looking at buying tires for my 2017 flagstaff classic super lite. It has 8ply tires on it. Would it be OK to run 14ply or would that be to much for the wheels or suspension? Or could I go to a 10 ply? Thank you.

Hey Allen, this is a good question but the good news is that if you were to drastically change the ply rating of your tires it's not going to significantly affect the suspension/wheels of your trailer so you can definitely do so. The ply rating correlates mostly to the weight capacity of the tire.
I believe your tire size is 225/75-15 which the highest ply rating we have in this size is 10 like the part # AM10303.
