I have a 2000 F250 short bed. Do you have a detail of where a 5th wheel hitch should be mounted

The installation instructions for the installation brackets will indicate the appropriate position for the rails in the truck bed. If your F250 is a light duty truck the front rail is about 51-3/32 inches from the tailgate. If the F250 is a super duty truck the front rail is about 54-3/8 inches from the tailgate.
