Can 4 inch Drop Axle be Replaced with Straight Axle
Question:
I need to replace a 3500 4” axle in my enclosed trailer. Can I install a straight axle instead? Thanks

If you happened to have enough ground clearance you could go with a straight axle but you would be losing about 4 inches of clearance between the tires. I attached a link to both styles of 3,500 lb axles we carry as well.
