Will 5th Wheel Hitch for Chevy/GMC Prep Package Fit 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty
Question:
I have a f-350 super duty without the prep package. It looks like the BW73FR is what I need. That has a 13inch by 30inch footprint. I currently have a Reese 13inch by 22inch Fifth wheel that was used on my old truck. Is there some adaptor that will let me use the Fifth Wheel that I have, with the 13inch by 22inch footprint?

The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BW73FR will fit your 2023 Ford F-350. However, this is designed to be used with the Companion # BWRVK3500-5W or # BWRVK3400-5W. The square hole for the gooseneck ball is the installation point for the Companion 5th wheel hitch.
Based on your measurement it sounds like your Reese 5th wheel hitch was designed for the Chevy/GMC puck system which measures 22-3/8" x 13". Although there isn't a direct adapter to allow this to fit other trucks, you could use the # DM6140 adapter assuming you don't have a slider. This will give you industry standard rails. Once installed, you would be able to potentially swap out the legs/base for one that fits industry standard rails.
For example, if you had the Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # RP26FR you could use the Replacement Legs for Reese M5 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Industry Standard Base Rails # RP30926 to attach it to the adapter. You could also go with the above bed rails # RP65VR instead of the B&W but you wouldn't have the option for the gooseneck and rails would be taking up space.
