No, you do not need to remove the existing wheel weights in order to use the Counteract Tire Balancing Beads # CA55FR. Although, if the wheel is already properly balanced and weighted, you really should not need balancing beads. So if you are having problems with the tires vibrating while driving, the balancing beads may help, but there may be an underlying cause other than tire balance.

Thanks, good info! I’m pretty happy with existing balancing on my 1/2 ton pickup, but maybe it could even better?
