What is Needed to Convert B&W Companion Slider to Fixed Hitch in 2022 Ram 3500 w/ Prep Package

Question:

I currently have a 2017 Ram 2500 S/B with a BandW Turnover Ball g/n hitch and a BandW Companion Slider Fifth Wheel Hitch. I’m buying a 2022 Ram 3500 L/B with the factory gooseneck and Fifth wheel prep package. What do I need to transfer this fifth wheel hitch to the new truck?

Hey there Randy, thanks for the question and all you need to do is replace the base of your B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3400-5W to one that fits the puck system of your 2022 Ram 3500 long bed. So the only thing you need is the following:

- Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram # BWRVB3600
