Troubleshooting Lights Not Working on 2018 Jeep Wrangler After Diode Installation
Question:
I installed a curt wiring kit on my 2018 jeep wrangler Jl. I tested the lights to the Rv and they worked great. I finished installing and wiring the roadmaster invisibrake after installing diodes and the trailer lights no longer work. The invisibrake works as designed however. Help!!

Based on the fact you're adding the InvisiBrake # RM-8700, I believe you have one of the Curt tow bar wiring harnesses and you aren't actually referring to a trailer wiring harness or trailer lights. More than likely the problem is the diode installation. Double check the diodes and make sure the connections are correct. This is the only thing I know of that would cause the lights to stop working. It wouldn't hurt to double check the rest of the installation just to be sure.

Thanks. There are diodes already in the curt wiring harness, but not blocking the feed to the tow harness. I removed the single diodes this morning and left the 2 in one outs on and they work as designed now. The invisibrake works properly and lights are in sync with the Rv as well. Thanks.
