Do I Need a Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 w/ a 6-1/2' Bed?
Question:
2022 Chevy Silverado custom 2500 with standard bed 6.5 do I need the slider or can I use the regular patriot?

Since your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500 has the shorter 6-1/2' bed you are going to want to use the sliding B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3270. Without the slider you won't be able to make tight turns or back up without hitting your 5th wheel trailer.
If you need a set of 5th wheel rails, I recommend the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails item # BWRVK2503. These are custom fit and install in predrilled holes in your Silverado's frame.
