Is Light Kit Needed for Covered Bike Rack at Rear of Fifth Wheel Trailer
Question:
Hello I got the rack from you: KU84FR. I plan to get a 2 bike cover and carry my ebiked on back of my 5th wheel. The bag is certain to cover/block all of the tail lights. I have a 4-pin at the bumper. What would plug into that and somehow extend my tail lights to rear of rack ? I might not be asking it right but you get the idea. Thoughts ?

Hey Tom so I definitely know what you are asking for but due to the very minimalistic design of the Kuat Transfer part # KU84FR there isn't a great way to add lights to it. But the good news is that you most likely don't need additional lights. Reason being that fifth wheel trailer taillights are often at the widest points on the trailer which is typically around 80 inches in width and your bike would definitely not be that long so your taillights SHOULD be visible on either side. Some trailers are different though.
